Cardinals are considered sacred birds in some cultures. They symbolize positivity and hope. Their bright red color is very attractive on snowy and wintry days. Cardinal Brooch shows a cardinal sitting on a branch laden with white berries. It is about 3” long, easy to convert into an ornament or a pendant. It is entirely beadwoven, using CRAW stitch and embellished. Available with silver or gold branch.
Techniques: CRAW, embellishment stitches
Length: 3” long, 2 ¼” wide. Suitable for students proficient with Cubic-right-angle-weave.

For this project you will need 7g red seed beads in size 11, black size 15 seed beads, a pinch of yellow size 11 seed beads, a pinch of black size 11 seed beads, a metal branch and brooch pin, assorted white pearls in 3mm, 4mm and 6mm sizes.
