Jhumki aka Jhumka or Jimikki are bell-shaped earrings beloved by people in India and Pakistan. The beautiful hollow bell-shaped earrings sway with every move and come in a myriad of styles. Some of them are multi-tiered, others are small, some others are trimmed with pearls and gemstones, the variety is endless. There is no religious meaning attached to jhumki as such other than it is bell-shaped. Bell-shaped jewelry and ornaments have been popular throughout antiquity. Bells were used in places of worship, in palaces and towers for a variety of reasons.
Jhumki Earrings is beaded with Czech beads and seed beads. It is lightweight and as you can see from the photos, there are many ways to assemble them. 3 tiered, 2 tiered, or single, they are versatile and attractive. It is very easy to add beads from your collection and modify the assembly.
