I am delighted and humbled to be featured as a designer in the Issue #110 of Bead and Jewellery Magazine, UK. This necklace is featured on the cover with more photos inside and a detailed pattern. Paisley, an iconic pattern, has been a popular motif that has been in use from the Victorian era to Rock n Roll to present times. This immortal design is always around and fashionable. I love beautiful, swirling and curving paisleys. They are so attractive in jewelry, apparel, accessories, tattoos and more. Reminiscent of tatted lace and bejeweled embroidery from a bygone era, Paisley Party Necklace highlights beaded paisleys in different sizes, and they are arranged around a sparkling crystal fancy stone along with circular components to make this stunning necklace. The pendant hangs from a beautifully beaded chain with circular stations. This necklace will surely be a popular addition to your jewelry box!
In this project beautiful generic crystals have been used with Swa****ski pearls and crystals here and there depending on stock in hand. The 27mm large fancy stone is generic, but beautiful. It also keeps the cost down as an added benefit. If you have a 1201 Swa****ki fancy stone in your stash, it can be used since the bezel is a perfect fit.
Techniques: Circular peyote, Ndebele Herringbone, Square stitch.
Size: 27” long, not including pendant. Pendant is 2 ¼” by 4 ½”
**Please note that you are buying only the beads, crystals and center fancy stone to complete one necklace in the color of your choice. Pattern is NOT included since it has just been published in the Bead and Jewellery Magazine. You will have to buy your own copy of the magazine to make this necklace. It is available as a paper edition or digital copy. Here is the link to the magazine https://www.beadmagazine.co.uk/issues **
