Bead Soup is served! I received a pink package from Renetha and when I opened it, all the goodies spilled out… many handmade ceramic beads, pretty copper findings, and several other items in earthy colors. Also, I breathed a sigh of relief! There was not one bead in a color I wouldn’t use like neon crystals or bubblegum colors. I knew I was off to a good start. Renetha, my partner, of lamplightcrafts.blogspot.com, has great taste. I have seen photos of pretty earrings and bracelets that she posts regularly. And there is a lot of information about various competitions, photos for inspirations, links to various blogs and websites etc. which I find very useful. I will be regularly visiting her blog to see what she is doing. A big ‘thank you’ to Lori Anderson for organizing this! In the next few days, I will be visiting many of the blogs posted by the Bead Soup Café members and see what everyone is up to! This is going to be a lot of fun and I am hoping to make new friends and take my beading one step further. I am already thinking about what I want to make. I know it is not going to be ‘floral’ inspired. I am switching gears and thinking of ‘fauna’ or rivers and canyons. I am posting better photos of my gourmet bead soup.
